We are reworking the frontend of ChannelPilot and chose to use Bulma, Vue.js and Nuxt.js for it. We do not only want to give it a fresh look but also create an extraordinary UX. The new frontend should be loved for making hard tasks easy.
From the beginning, you will be part of every phase of this development.
- You ensure together with the team that the code stays maintainable, is well tested and documented.
- You create features and provide a good design, to enhance the user's understanding of the tool and avoid usability questions.
- You create the functionality from CSS to the API-Call.
- You mentor your colleagues and support them in getting better.
An example: Your task could be to design the mapping of shop categories to marketplaces and bring it into production, so it creates smiles instead of question marks on the user’s face.
Your profile
- We believe that a degree in design or computer science helps but it is not mandatory for this position.
- You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience as Frontend Engineer.
- You have proven experience in creating frontends with Bulma, Vue.js and Nuxt and you already implemented a couple of applications begin to end.
- You have a clear view on how frontend architecture should look like, so the code keeps a high quality.
- It’s important for you to understand the “why” so you can think of the “how” and implement a solution. The outcome should create value for the customer and you should keep pushing until your feature is actively used.
- You want to share your knowledge with your colleagues and you are open for different views. You like discussions to get the best result.
- Documentation is as important to you as code itself to avoid you to answer the same questions again but instead document everything.
- You are fluent in English. If you can speak German, that’s a very nice add-on.
We are a great international team with open doors, flat hierarchies and fast decisions. You get a discount for public transport and obviously we provide drinks and snacks. We are family friendly and keep an eye on work-life balance with flexible working hours and home -office regulations.
Celebrating and team building is important to us, so we regularly have events like climbing, lasertag or bowling.
You do not live in Hamburg? No problem. It is also possible to work with us remotely as long as we are in similar time zones.
We are looking forward to receiving your application. Please do include a cover letter in which you introduce yourself as a colleague.
You have convinced us with your application? Great! You will be invited to a video call with our CTO, so you can get to know each other and understand the role and the requirements. The next step will be a take-home assignment, in which we ask you to complete a task, so we get an impression of your skills. The last step is a meeting with your team, so you can see if your team fits to you and vice versa. And then we can hopefully welcome you to the Channel Pilot Crew!
